Davip - Massacre / Vertigo [Mainframe]

After a hugely successful year that saw the release of DisasZt’s ‘Shadow & Lightning’ LP as well as Xilent’s ‘Evolutions Per Minute’, along with the co-signing of rising stars such as Xilent, High Maintenance, and Fourward with Audioporn Records, Mainframe is set to release another explosive project from some of Europe’s rising young producers.

Headed by DisasZt, a veteran of the burgeoning drum and bass scene in Austria, Mainframe have built a reputation on breaking innovative cutting edge music. This latest release, featuring Davip, Encode, Engage, and Conectivers is no exception.

Davip & Engage & Conectivers - Massacre by Mainframe Recordings

‘Massacre’ – Davip & Engage & Conectivers
‘Massacre’ sees Davip, Engage and Conectivers return to the hard, unrelenting style of drum and bass lost in recent years to radio-friendly bass music. Boasting one of the biggest intros this year, ‘Massacre’ promises much from the get go. Mysterious eastern vocals are combined with hard-edged metallic synths to give the track a cinematic feel, and by the time the track launches anticipation is already off the chart. A patchwork of soaring synths, descending baselines and explosive drums, ‘Massacre’ is sure to slay the dancefloor.

Davip & Encode - Vertigo by Mainframe Recordings

‘Vertigo’ – Davip & Encode
The flipside ‘Vertigo’ offers no let up. A collaboration between Davip and Encode, the B-side begins with a similarly epic intro which then builds into another dancefloor smasher. Sporting one of the catchiest melodies around and one of the hardest bass sounds going, the highlight of ‘Vertigo’ is its huge bassline. Davip and Encode combine epic bass with forceful drums and a whole host of sound effects to create a track that is already a staple of the rowdiest dancefloors.
